Be Someone's Hero is a newly launched project to search out that kid in your neighborhood, local schools who has displayed some awesome football skills and you want to help him or her become the next super star.
Be Someone’s Hero is the project of Inspire Football
Life (IFL), a football outreach and talent Hunt arm of the globally acclaimed
Sport Marketing consult – GreenHunters Sport International. A company that
creatively initiates programs and projects to help young African footballers
jump start successful professional football career.
We’re aware that lots of football talents are hidden
away in the hinterlands of several remote places in Africa. The major challenge
is how to get them out to spotlight. They need sponsors, someone they can look
up to help them financially to gloom their talent and get opportunity to attend
several trial camps or try outs with clubs.
Already, we have over 1, 500 young footballers that
have registered for our intended Trial Camp in Lagos Nigeria, but lack of
corporate sponsorship has stalled this initiative for two years now. We have
had agreement with Total Soccer Method Netherlands, and Roger Bongearts is
ready to come over to help the boys develop technical skills and game
intelligence. We have as well invited
FIFA Licensed Player’s Agent, Joe Martinez and two great scouts, Simon Trewery
and Ambrose Cortie.
Be Someone’s Hero is another initiative to get
private sponsors to partner with us and help these great talents get the right exposure
necessary to take them to the next level. You may partner with us in two ways.
You may discover a talent in your neighborhood or school close to you and you
want to help the player. All you have to do is to alert us and we provide you
the necessary support.
Second, you may want us to help you select a player among
the 1,500 players we have already discovered for you to sponsor. Any player you
sponsor and we succeed in getting him a club abroad, you will share an agreed
percentage commissions from the player’s contract. These can be a great
investment for you.
IFL will launch the ‘Be Someone's Hero’ December 4,
2014, during my birthday celebration, and tour 25 cities in Nigeria, which will
allow kids meet their Heroes (Sponsors) and Sign the Memorandum of
Understanding(MOU). Talent display novelty match will also be played in Onikan
Stadium lagos..
IFL has been approached by a television producer
from Lagos and negotiations are in progress for a new 13 show television
reality series based around the tour and the players.
Be Someone's Hero is taking applications from
interested sponsors. We are looking at someone who may be ready to invest up to
N2 million on a player. Qualified applicants will automatically sit on our Board
of Advisors for this project. That means you will actively involved as to how
the Sponsorship fees will be spent.
