Azerbaijan Football Trial Tour is open to quality Players in Nigeria and other West African countries, 17 to 24 years, who are seeking to kick start a professional football career in Europe.
Great Olympic football academy (GOFA) Lagos is embarking on a trial tour of Azerbaijan and will be camping in Baku for 15 days starting from 1st week of June 2024, just in time to the opening of Europe transfer windows in July.
Any quality player who has the financial capacity to fund his trip has the opportunity to join the academy after a successful screening exercise in Lagos by the 2nd week of May 2024.

Football Opportunities in Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan gives African players like you an instant platform to kick start your dream of playing in Europe; and if you are such a quality player and improving, in a few seasons, you are likely to find yourself in the top five European leagues.
I can confidently say this because, most successful Azerbaijani football clubs participate in both UEFA Champions League and Europa Cup.
In 2017 season for instance, after successful playoffs, Garabag FK played against Chelsea, Roma, Atletico Madrid in the champions league. Gabala FK as well played against Borussia Dortmund, Mainz in Europa league.
Most Azerbaijan clubs are attracted to the structure and skills (strong, tenacious and persistence) nature of West African football players, that gives you an edge and a favourable disposition at the trial and pre-season games.
During the 15 days football camp, GOFA will be playing four (4) trial matches with Garabag FK, Gabala FK, Neftali fK, Inter Baku FK and other 1st division football clubs may follow.
Selected players at each trial games will be up for contract negotiations and signing.

Travel Schedule
√ Register Your Interest - from today April 23rd
√ Screening Exercise to select players - between May 6th and 11th
√ Payment of Deposit between May 6th and 11th
√ Documentation and visa - between May 14th and 28th
√ Payment of Balance Between May 28th and 30th
Departure - between June 1st and 7th
Financial Guaranty for Both Parties
° All payment for this tour must be Receipted and Guaranteed Full Refund Agreement in case of any failure on the part of the organizers.
° Players who paid initial deposit must be ready to pay the balance as at when due.
Any player that fails to pay the balance as at when due, will not be refunded the initial deposit, because the funds would have been used for the processes. As long as the failure is from the player, there will be NO REFUND.
